In a unexpected partnership that challenges traditional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Revealed

According to the authorized release, "An unusual confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous transformations resonate through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret group.

The mission focuses on "peculiar trials and a fearsome foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Transformations

The trailer highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Additional Content

Players who successfully complete the quest will obtain an special katana together with multiple artifacts secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
